An Ideal, Natural Cure for Fibroids

Have you been searching all over for natural ways of shrinking your myomas? Are you sick of taking conventional medications that do not provide you with the desired results? If you are, then this is the right time to try natural ways of controlling your fibroids symptoms.

There is also a better opportunity for getting a natural cure for fibroids by building up the natural ability of your body to shrink growths and recover. For a natural fibroids cure, you will need vital interconnected elements. The first element is diet.

We are aware that the foods most of us consume are loaded with lots toxins which can be harmful to the body. The foods are high in salt, fat, sugar and preservatives. Naturally, the human body is not meant to digest compounds that are not naturally occurring. We cannot digest aspartame or monosodium glutamate.

With time, the toxins in our bodies build up and may lead to hormonal imbalances and a hoard of other severe health issues. Fibroids are usually a sign that your body is suffering from an imbalanced diet.

Below are some changes that you need to make in your daily food intake so that you can increase your ability to manage myomas naturally:

1. Keep off foods that are heavily processed. Such foods include potato chips, candies, chocolates, cookies or simply anything that comes in a box. Here is the rule of the thumb: if it stays in your cupboard for more than seven days without going bad, then it's not worth eating. Toss it in the dustbin.

2. Eat, eat and eat some MORE fresh vegetables. When consuming your vegetables, ensure you follow the rainbow rule: have yellows, oranges, violets, greens and all those colored vegetables (particularly the dark colored ones) in your plate. This is not like a rule that must be followed each time you are enjoying your plate of vegetables. It's just a simple guideline that you should always strive to achieve.

3. Alcohol and caffeine should be taken in moderation as you are detoxifying your body. If you can avoid them completely, then you will have higher chances of fighting off fibroids.

4. Products that contain soy are not recommended for women with fibroids, since they interfere with the levels of estrogen in the body. High levels of estrogen may accelerate your risk of developing extra big myomas.

The second element that is needed for a natural fibroids cure is enough exercise. One should be getting more than 60 minutes of exercise every week. If you are able to do 60 minutes each day, then that would be great! Exercise helps the body get rid of toxins and also boosts your physiology. The advantages are too overwhelming to start discussing them all here.

The third element is taking herbal supplements. Discuss with your homeopath or holistic health professional about the natural supplements that are good for patients suffering from fibroids. By taking the right type of supplements, you will gain the following:

• Stronger immune system

• Fibroids that are smaller in size

• Decreased blood flow volume during monthly periods

• Decrease in frequency and strength of cramps

Most natural herbs contain anti-tumor properties. Discuss with your holistic health professional about such potent herbs and the best way you can incorporate them in your everyday diet.

The last and the most critical element is management of your stress levels. Never undermine stress; it can interfere with the natural defense mechanism of the body against diseases and several other health conditions. It also disrupts the natural internal balance of your body.

If you've been diagnosed with fibroids, then making sure you get the right treatment is a must. To learn the secrets of curing fibroids,

Is It An Allergy, or Is It A Cold ?

After successfully surviving this winter without a cold, not even a sniffle, I was feeling pretty good about things. After all, I do write articles about staying healthy using good nutrition and am a distributor for a company that has really great nutrition products, too. Thus, I am supposed to stay healthy and not be sick.

Then it happened! All of a sudden I began to feel a little bit puny, started sneezing, and developed a runny nose. As a person who doesn't usually experience allergies, I was puzzled. I had not even been around anyone who had a cold. Oh, but one afternoon when I was cleaning for a friend who had been hospitalized and undergoing rehab for several months, I did kick up a lot of dust, mixed with powder and cat hair that had been there for many months. At first, I just thought I was extra tired because of having had a couple long, hard days of doing physical work.

However, when the sneezing and sniffles showed up, I started analyzing. What is this? Do I have a cold? Have I developed a new allergy that I never had before? Thus, I looked at common symptoms of colds and of allergies. My conclusion was that most likely I had acquired a dust mite allergy, which did go away in a few days.

COLD SYMPTOMS

Usually last between 3 and 14 days
Usually occurs in the winter
Frequent coughing
Sometimes the person aches
Sometimes fatigue
Often a sore throat
Itchy, watery eyes is rare
Often a runny nose
Congestion
Sneezing

ALLERGY SYMPTOMS

Could last days to months, as long as you are exposed to it
Could occur anytime or be seasonal
Sometimes coughing
No aches
Sometimes fatigue
Often itchy, watery eyes
Sometimes a sore throat
Often a runny nose
Congestion
Sneezing

A cold is caused by a virus and is contagious. An allergy can be caused by many things, but is not contagious. What really causes an allergic reaction is your own immune system. Allergies get started because of exposure. Even though you've been there many times, for some reason this time, the body flags it as an invader. At this time the immune system studies the allergy and gets ready for the next exposure by developing antibodies, which are special cells designed to protect it. That activates other cells called mast cells. The mast cells are responsible for allergy symptoms in the lungs, skin, lining of the nose and the intestinal tract.

There are various kinds of allergens:

Airborne allergens, such as pollen, animal dander, dust mites and mold.
Certain foods, such as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, eggs and milk.
Insect stings.
Medications, as penicillin.
Latex, or other things you touch.

Many people become allergy victims from time to time. If you are one of those people, you may want to take a look at some natural ways to avoid that nuisance condition.

To start with, there may be certain foods you could avoid, such as dairy products and sugar. Otherwise, don't eat the kind of foods that contribute to mucous and congestion. There are also certain foods that may be helpful such as vegetables, fruits, nuts, and flax seed. You may need to drink more fluids, especially water, too.

There are also things you can do in your environment to help reduce the likelihood of getting allergies:
*Wash your bedding each week to avoid dust mites
*Use non-toxic cleaning products
*Wear a mask when doing yard work, gardening, or working in dusty conditions
*Clean your living environment.
*Clean or replace your carpet
*Get rid of clutter that collects allergens
*Check your house for mold and pollen. Get a dehumidifier
*Wash your clothes after working outside

The above lists of what to do and what not to do could probably go on and on. As with most issues in life which affect our health, obviously the better you have taken care of yourself on a daily basis, the fewer problems you should have with other issues, such as allergies. So, in my opinion, the standard advice applies here, too. Eat your veggies, take your vitamins, exercise, and get plenty of sleep.

As we age, in order to maintain optimum health, the body seems to have a higher requirement for nutrition and exercise. One way to increase nutrition is to add vitamin & mineral supplements,

Symptoms of a Gluten Intolerance

Are You Intolerant to Gluten?

Cutting Out Gluten

In the United States 1% of the population are gluten intolerant. Many people are finding alternative foods that don't have gluten in it, such as gluten-free breads, buns, bagels, and cereals. Now there are gluten-free flours like brown rice, coconut, and almond that is healthier.

What Is Gluten

Gluten is a type of protein composite found in different types of grains, including wheat, spelt, rye and barley. There are two proteins in gluten: gliadin and glutenin. However, it's the gliadin people have a bad reaction to. When gluten is mixed with water, it forms a sticky cross-linked network of proteins. When water is added to flour, it forms a dough that causes it to rise when it's baked. The word "gluten"comes from the term glue-like properties.

When gluten goes into the digestive tract, it's exposed to cells in the immune system; they think it's coming from a type of foreign invader such as bacteria. As a result, the immune system reacts in a negative way.

Having Celiac Disease

In people who have celiac disease, it is difficult to digest gluten in the foods that they eat, because it attacks the proteins in the gluten, and it attacks an enzyme in the cells of the digestive tract, which is called tissue transglutaminase. Therefore, with people who have celiac disease, gluten attacks the digestive system in the intestinal wall. As a result, celiac disease is classified as an autoimmune disease.
Over time, a reaction to gluten can cause degeneration of the intestinal wall that leads to nutrient deficiencies, such as different kinds of digestive problems, anemia, fatigue, stomach aches, bloating and many other kinds of health concerns if consumed a lot.

Celiac disease affects 1% of the U.S. population and 2% of the elderly population. Over the years, celiac disease has been on the rise in North America and continues to rise every year. A large portion of the U.S. population don't show symptoms and, as a result, they don't know they have the disease; however, symptoms over time, may show up, like stomach aches. nausea, and bloating to name a few.

Gluten Sensitivity

There are many people who have gluten sensitivity, but don't have celiac disease, which is called non-celiac. People with gluten sensitivity have no symptoms in body tissues, but many symptoms are similar to celiac disease, such as bloating, stomach cramps, fatigue, diarrhea, as well as pain in the bones and joints. In many cases, there is no way to diagnose people who are sensitive to gluten; therefore, it's hard to diagnose the condition. However, there are some tests that are helpful in diagnosing gluten sensitivity like finding antibodies in blood tests or stool samples. Also, some people carry the HLA-DQ2 and HLA-DQ8 genes that may cause people to be sensitive to gluten. Another way you can diagnose gluten sensitivity is by not eating foods with gluten in them for 30 days, then go back on gluten to see if there are any symptoms you may have.

Gluten Effects On The Brain

There are other ways gluten affects you other than the intestinal tract, but the brain as well. Many cases have found that gluten may cause neurological disorders, as a result from gluten consumption, which is called gluten-sensitive idiopathic neuropathy. One neurological brain disorder from gluten is cerebellar ataxia, which is a disease of the brain that affects balance coordination, movements and speaking clearly.

Studies have found cases of ataxia that are linked to gluten consumption called gluten ataxia that causes permanent brain damage to the cerebellum, which is a part of the brain that is important to motor function. Many studies have shown that a gluten-free diet may improve brain function, as well as digestive function. If you think you have any symptoms that are related to gluten consumption see your doctor and get tested.

How To Get Rid of Utricaria

Utricaria is also commonly known as Hives and it is generally a form of skin rash or allergy. The symptoms include red splotches on the face, arms, legs and genitals that start to burn and form weals and reddish bumps all over the affected area of the skin.

There are two types of Hives;

Acute and chronic utricaria. In order to understand how this severe allergy can be avoided, it is important to learn about the disease itself. Acute Utricaria: The size of these red welts or blotches on the skin may vary from a few millimeters to inches or the size of a fist. Utricaria can affect any part of the body and the span of this rash or allergy can be 24 hours and sometimes it could be more if the skin is sensitive or proper measures are not taken to prevent it.

Chronic Utricaria

Chronic Utricaria is a term used to describe hives which last longer than six weeks. This rash is very rare and 1 in every 1000 people develops this rash at some point of their life. Women are more prone to it as compared to men. This kind of rash lasts for months with dormant periods in between.

It is not triggered by external factors like environment or climate but food products like caffeine and alcohol along with extreme emotional stress and prolonged pressure on the skin caused by tight cloths and painkillers are some major contributors. Many diseases like HIV or other autoimmune diseases also cause Hives. Proper medicine prescribed by the doctor is the best way to deal with it.

What is the root cause that triggers Acute Utricaria?

Any trigger, external or internal can lead to excessive release of the chemical, histamine in the skin which cause the blood fluid to leak from the blood vessels and spread under the skin to create weals. The blood vessels dilate around the weals and lead to flares on the surface of the skin. The trigger can be anything from an air pollutant or food like peanut, sushi, dairy products, shellfish and many others.

Allergic reaction to medicines Reaction of skin to external environment like chemicals, rain, dust particles etc. Stress and pressure of work, emotions and feelings, Infections that are caused by other diseases, Animals and insects also take a huge part in triggering it. Sometimes animal's saliva and insect bites are major participants.

What to do if you have even the slightest suspicion that your allergy might be Hives?

There are many allergies that occur due to various reasons that could be environmental or climatic but when you see an allergy starting and you suspect that it is Utricaria then the first step you should do is to take a shower and change your clothes. The shower will help you get rid of all the germs or triggers of allergy that might still be adhering to your skin while changing clothes will also protect you from further spreading it to other body parts through contact.

What should the person do when diagnosed with Utricaria?

The triggers occur in two forms that are found in cold environment and warm environment. When a person gets infected with this form of allergy in a cold environment then to stop its spread to other areas of the body you should use warm water for treatment on the infected area.

Similarly when the infection occurs on the skin in warm environment then it is better to wash it and treat it with cold water and ice. These kinds of hot and cold treatment will not only stop further spread of the disease but will also help decrease the itching and uncomfortable feeling.

What are the homes remedies that can help you get rid of Utricaria?

There are many cures for this allergy and some of them might seem awkward to you but many of them are really effective because of natural active ingredients that are present in them.

Oatmeal is one of the best and readily accessible forms of home remedies. Try to find oatmeal that is found in powdered form so that it can dissolve in water easily and take a bath in oatmeal mixture for about 30 minutes. Oatmeal works great for dry and rough skin by soothing the inflamed areas. It also heals the skin really fast and removes dirt and debris from it.

Fish skin oil is another effective solution and it has no side effects whatsoever. This oil is available in the form of capsules and is rich in Omega-3 and Vitamin E which are known for their healing properties. Baking soda and apple vinegar are also very helpful. Some hives are acidic in nature so to apply something basic on it like the paste of baking soda will stop the allergy immediately.

Similarly some forms of Utricaria are alkaline in nature and baking soda will not help in such cases. So apple vinegar is the best option as it will neutralize it.Natural green tea is used by people who get hives caused by emotional stress and work anxiety. Tealeaves contain anti-oxidants which remove free radicals and disease causing agents in the blood. Thus, green tea is a great deterrent towards skin inflammatory diseases like Hives.

Antihistamines as an effective drug treatment for Utricaria

Histamine is the main trigger of Utricaria so antihistamines are used in different forms to counteract the rising levels of histamine in patients who suffer from hives. Common antihistamines occur in the form of tablets, eye drops, nasal sprays, capsules and liquids. These may be "over the counter" (OTC) drugs or "prescription" drugs. Common OTC antihistamines are listed below:

• Diphenhydramine- Brand Name: Benadryl
• Brompheniramine- Brand Name: Dimetane
• Clemastine- Brand Name: Tavist
• Chlorpheniramine- Brand Name: Chlor-Trimeton
• Fexofenadine- Brand name: Allegra
• Loratadine- Brand Names: Claritin, Alavert
• Certirizine- Brand Name: Zyrtec.

Precautionary Measures:

The best a person can do to Get rid of Hives is to be fully aware of their allergies, what triggers them and what not to eat so that there is no chance of risking it. A person who suffers from the chronic form of this disease should avoid all stress markers and catalysts that can trigger the allergy. If you take such preventive measures then you can surely avoid it.

How Do I Know If I Have a Ragweed Allergy?

How Do I Know If I Have a Ragweed Allergy ?

Ragweed pollen is one of the most common causes of hay fever, and it affects one in five Americans and 85% of allergy sufferers. There are over 15 species of ragweed pollen in the U.S., and it can thrive just about anywhere, from the humid Northwest to the desert-dry Southwest.

However, ragweed plants are most commonly found in rural areas and open spaces that get abundant sunshine. And just one tiny plant can produce up to a billion grains of pollen in one season.

Not only is ragweed pollen easy to produce, but also it can travel the distance. The pollen travels in the wind and can reach widespread proportions and even survive a mild winter. This means that some people can suffer from a ragweed allergy year-round, not just in the fall. Ragweed pollen can even float; it's been found as far as 400 miles out to sea and two miles up in the atmosphere.

Signs and Symptoms of a Ragweed Allergy

It's hard to determine if you have a ragweed allergy based on your symptoms alone since the reaction can mimic an allergy to something else. Seeing an allergy doctor is best because you can narrow down your particular allergy.

That said, here are some symptoms to keep an eye on that could indicate a ragweed allergy. These symptoms are most likely to hit in mid-August and run through the first frost of the season, which usually occurs in mid-October.

Itchy, watery eyes
Scratchy throat
Runny nose or nasal congestion
Sinus pressure
Coughing
Wheezing
Decreased smell or taste
Contact dermatitis
How to Improve Symptoms

Because ragweed is so widespread and hard to avoid, you will probably need medications to make you more comfortable. Typically, the first line of defense is to avoid the allergen, but in this case, it's nearly impossible. But, there are effective things you can do to improve your symptoms.

Stay indoors when the counts are high. Usually, it's between 10 am and 4 pm. If you enjoy running in the mornings, for instance, try to switch your routine to the evening when pollen counts are lower.

Keep the windows in your home and car closed. It's hard to do this when you get the first crisp days of fall, but it's in your best interest. If you must open the windows, do so on lower pollen days and during off-peak hours.

Clean your air filters. Now that the fall is here, replace the air filter in your home. If it's clogged with dirt and debris, it won't do a good job of removing pollen from the air.

Change your clothes. If you've spent time outdoors, change your clothes so that you don't bring the pollen into your home. Also shower at night so you can remove pollen from your hair.

Take medication. Talk to your allergy doctor about the best medications to take for your allergies. Many options are available such as antihistamines, decongestants and nasal sprays. Irrigation with a salt-based solution is safe and effective as well.

We offer a full range of allergy and asthma services to satisfy all of your needs. We also provide skin testing to determine the root causes of your allergy issues. Our friendly staff and highly skilled doctors strive to alleviate your symptoms and your concerns.

Tips To Choosing The Best Anti-Ageing Skin Care Products

Choosing an anti-ageing skin care product may appear a rather daunting experience. There are so many options on the market, how do you decide which one is going to provide you with the best long term results, helping you improve your skin's appearance while hiding the fine lines and wrinkles that have developed over the years.

The first step is to ensure that any anti-ageing skin care products you purchase are natural and safe. You want to try and steer away from those that have been synthetically produced and are brimming with dangerous chemicals and tested on animals, rather look for those age old traditional methods, which have been used around the world for years with proven results.

Focus on choosing an anti-ageing skin care product which incorporates sun cream. With the sun's rays causing havoc on your skin, you want to protect it as much as possible. This means that you want to ensure any cream you wear daily has a SPF of at least thirty. Ideally even higher than SPF30 to reduce the risk of your skin burning, which increases your chances of developing fine lines and wrinkles moving forward.

Look at the ingredients included in the anti-ageing skin care product. You want to have the information at your fingertips and identify with each item, ensuring that there are no harmful chemicals. The company manufacturing these anti-ageing skin care products should be completely transparent in the processes and willing to share their ingredients list with you to provide you with confidence and enable you to purchase with complete peace of mind.

Ensure that any solution you purchase has been formulated for your particular skin type. If you are unsure whether you have dry, oily or event semi oily skin, then see if the manufacturer enables you to contact them directly. They should provide you with advice and help you identify which anti-ageing care product is the right match to provide you with the best results moving forward.

Always read the label once the product arrives on your doorstep if ordering online. Buying anti-ageing skin care products online can be quite a daunting experience. What you see is not always what you get, so you want to take careful note of the natural ingredients provided online and when the item arrives on your doorstep, check it to ensure that it matches the ingredients list you read online.

Take the time to ensure that all the ingredients listed for the anti-ageing skin care products are natural and safe. Natural and organic skin care products are the best option for your skin. These can help cleanse, moisturize and exfoliate without using any dangerous chemicals and only using natural oils which improve the appearance and texture of your skin moving forward.

One of the hardest things to do is imagine how this anti-ageing skin care product is going to work and how it is going to help your skin now and moving forward. For many people, they have unrealistic expectations.

The biggest expectation people have is buying a product and imagining all their fines lines and wrinkles miraculously disappearing over the course of a few days or weeks, this is not the case. In fact, once you have fine lines and wrinkles, they will never go away, but they can change in appearance. This means a good quality product will be able to hide the signs, making it look as though your lines and wrinkles have been removed.

The final step to buying a good quality anti-ageing product is to ensure that you set yourself a budget and stick to it. Take your time making your selection to ensure you find the best quality product for a price you can afford.

Rebuilding Muscle Mass to Beat Aging

It is hard to believe that, once we are mature adults, we begin losing muscle mass at the rate of a kilogram or two every decade. But it's a fact.

Muscle mass refers to the bulk of the muscular tissue in our bodies. Though we have three different kinds of muscle in our bodies, muscle mass usually means skeletal muscle, the most visible kind of muscle. It's what gives us our power and strength.

We don't notice our loss of muscle because it takes place slowly over the years and the lost mass is replaced with fat.

Muscle and metabolism

The amount of muscle you have is a key factor in the regulation of most metabolic activities.

Metabolism is the term used for all the chemical reactions involved in maintaining the living state of our cells. It involves breaking down molecules to obtain energy and synthesising the compounds needed by our cells.

Our metabolism keeps us alive by transforming energy (ie, burning calories) to run various functions such as digesting food, breathing air, undertaking activities and so on. Metabolic rate is the speed at which these chemical reactions take place, ie it is the rate at which our bodies burn calories.

Our metabolic rate is controlled by our muscles. Thus loss of muscle as we grow older can slow down our metabolic rate. But our metabolism can be raised with any sort of exercise; eg just walking for 20 minutes a day.

However the best way to improve metabolic rate when growing old is to build back the muscles you are losing over time, ie reverse your age-associated loss of muscle.

Indeed building muscle is one of the most effective anti-aging strategies available.

The Evergreen Project in Finland is an ongoing study of the effects muscle can have on the aging process. The participants are men and women aged 65 to 94.

Results to date show that those with the most muscle mass are experiencing better mental function, fewer chronic illnesses and long life spans. This suggests that muscle-building bestows a wide-range of benefits on the elderly.

Muscle building exercises

The Human Nutritional Research Center on Aging, at Tufts University in the USA, studied the effect of muscle-building therapy on persons aged 63 to 98. Most of the participants initially needed walking aids or wheelchairs to get around.

The participants took part in special therapeutic exercises. Over a 10-week period their muscle strength improved significantly. They also experienced improved stamina and stability. Many discovered that they were able to walk unaided after the muscle-building exercises.

The best way to build muscle is through exercise. However the particular exercise you do must be suited to the specific purpose of muscle-building.

Long endurance exercise (such as running marathons) does not build muscle. In fact, this kind of exercise causes wear and tear on your body. It can hurt your joints. In addition, your muscles get fatigued but do not get effective signals for growth.

Weight lifting is the best way to increase muscle mass. However you must choose weights that you can repeat comfortably 10 to 15 times.

To make a significant difference you only have to work each body part once a week. For best results, your diet should include extra protein.

Older people who wish to build muscle can try the following strategy:

First work on the large muscle groups in the legs and back
Only do strength-training exercises three times a week
Perform exercises at high intensity for short durations
Increase work load progressively to stimulate the growth of muscles
Do exercises slowly and smoothly to avoid injury
Exercising for short spells is best for your body. In addition, it is easier to fit into your daily schedule. It is also more enjoyable... remember that rebuilding muscle mass to beat aging should not be a boring chore!

Ageless Beauty: With or Without Surgery ?

Loose skin, saggy cheeks and wrinkled faces, all of these appear as time goes by. These are the effects of time and aging that everyone want to conceal. Everyone desires to stay young and look young. But for this to be achieved, people have to find ways to suppress the effects of time on their faces. Throughout history, countless products and procedures were formulated to achieve that one goal. Today, a wide range of beauty products and surgeries are available to the public.

Why the Need for Surgery?

In today's market, countless beauty products are surfacing. Many companies created new beauty products to satisfy the longing of the people for long-lasting beauty. There's also a wide range of "natural" beauty products introduced yearly in the market, claiming that it can yield many splendid results. For many years, these products were used to gain that youth beauty that many desired. Aside from being easy to use, these products have little to no side effects, granted that it was consulted before use.

But facing the facts, even all of these won't solve the aging problem everyone goes through. Even the most brilliant formulated products have limited effects that wear out eventually. In response to this, people tried a more direct and permanent approach in gaining youthful beauty. Experts devised surgical operations to achieve younger looking appearance. Although surgical operations offered longer lasting effect, it may have a downside.

Surgical Operations: Long-lasting, but is it safe?

Because surgical operations offered more permanent effects, it became popular throughout the world. Well-known people, such as celebrities, are known to gone through these operations. Specialist in cosmetic surgery devised a lot of procedures that can remove that hinders to gain youthful beauty. For a certain area of the body, there is a corresponding procedure that will fix the problem. Most of the commonly known surgical procedures targets saggy and loose skin. Effective as it may be, but it still has a downside.

First of all, not all surgeries are completely successful. What people expected to be better, sometimes had gone bad to worse. In the hands of a master surgeon, the odds of a success are big, but for an inexperienced one, it can lead to failure.

Aside from that, it can have side effects, which can ultimately scar a person for the rest of their life. In addition to literal scars, people who undergone surgeries may feel pain and discomfort that can last a long time. Infection, nerve damage and blood loss are some of the risks of surgeries. Surgeries also require post-treatment measures to avoid these complications, which can be troublesome.

Surgeries are also not for everyone. The elderly, obese and those who suffer from sickness may have a bigger chance of developing complication.
The question now is, are there any other ways that someone can achieve youthful beauty without surgical procedures but still gain these effects?

Non-surgical Operations

Today, experts found new ways to achieve that ageless beauty without the involvement of surgeries.

There are a wide variety of non-surgical operations.

There are laser treatments that use laser technology to remove the signs of aging, such as Radio Frequency treatments.
Chemical peels are also removes outer layers of the skin cells thus removing dead skin. Dermal fillers, which injected to wrinkles to fill them out, are also available.

Botox procedures inject Botulinum Toxin A that will relax facial muscles making wrinkles less obvious. Although
In general, these procedures carry less serious risks but it does not mean that it is entirely safe. Discussing it with a good surgeon would nonetheless lessen these risks.

There is one non-surgical operation however that offers little to no side effect.

Ultherapy, for example, is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment. It may cause minimal redness and slight swelling but only last for a couple of hours. It is by far one of safest way to achieve the younger look. It is currently the only non-invasive treatment approved by FDA. It employs ultrasound technology that gradually lifts skin on the eyebrow, under the chin and in the neck area and wrinkles. It stimulates collagen regeneration.

It can last for an hour and a half and does not require any post-treatment. Most patients only need one treatment, but taking additional sessions can be beneficial. Initial effects can be seen but it may take two months at least to see the full effects of ultheraphy.

Aging Well: Maintain YOUR Health!

Getting old isn't easy on the body, mind, and spirit. However, you can age well and stay happy by following simple advice from experts.

Consider these tips:

Reduce the stress. Stress can affect you on a cellular level and age you. Stress can sap your energy and affect your mood. Experts recommend reducing the stress in your life by analyzing the causes.

What are the biggest causes of stress in your life? You'd think that we'd be living the good life, stress-free, in retirement but that isn't always true. What is your stressor: an annoying relative? Your husband/wife? (it happens!) the lack of anything purposeful to do? too much time on your hands? income worries?

You may want to examine your life and look for the sources of stress. Once you find them, you can work on eliminating them or reducing contact with the people who create stress.

Keep your mind active. One of the key factors to aging well is to have an active mind. From doing crossword puzzles to reading new books, you can keep your brain cells active. Use them or lose them... right?

Try new activities that work your mind. This is necessary to avoid boredom and find new friends and experiences to share with them.

Examples are: join a book club at the local library, or a Facebook group based on your hobby (fishing, another language, sewing, whatever), take a dance class with your partner, go on day trips (senior centers offer bus trips that are really fun).

Exercise. Exercise is an essential part of aging well. It keeps your body healthy and helps the mind too.

Exercise has multiple benefits including increased flexibility, improved circulation, and better muscle tone.

Researchers have found that exercise can help reduce the risk of chronic health issues that make aging a difficult process. If a new exercises every day can get you past a chronic, lifetime, health problem -- why not?

Explore the world around you. As you age, it's important to stay curious and involved in the world around you. Avoid boredom and depression by being involved.

Travel is a popular hobby for retirees, if you have the income to do so.

You can also explore the world with Armchair Travel. If you're on a limited budget and can't travel, then consider taking a class about a different country or read a great book about another lifestyle.

You can also visit libraries for new books. Go often and you'll likely find new friends with the same interests. You can also visit local senior community centers for new activities, new friendships, and even Day Trips with local seniors.

Finally, my private Retirement Community has 1400+ seniors who are all chatting about life. Nationwide and worldwide, they visit to read a joke, comment on a blog post or browse the Senior Pen Pal ads. (see resource at the bottom) Many new friendships have been formed, that's what life is all about!

Stay socially engaged. Isolation is one of the biggest issues of aging. As you get older, you may interact less with friends and family.

Isolation is dangerous because it can have a negative impact on your health and lead to depression and anxiety. If you are alone a lot, please please do not watch the News all day, every day. It is so darn depressing! Find yourself a funny movie instead!

It's important to stay involved in your community and social circle. Attend parties with friends, throw family reunions, or visit others. Your social network will help you stay engaged and happy.

View aging from a different perspective. Your thoughts about aging can affect the quality of your life. Please don't become the GRUMPY senior! Although aging involves changes, it also presents opportunities for growth and learning.

Researchers note that senior citizens who have positive attitudes toward aging are less likely to have chronic health issues. Your attitude can affect your mind and your body, so pay attention to your thoughts. Watch other seniors and you can immediately tell who is happy and fun to be around.

FUN does not end with aging. LAUGH with others, TEASE others, chat with the next person in line at the grocery store or the clerk. You will make their day and maybe your own too!

Aging brings the loss of loved ones, retirement from work, and other life transformations. However, the way you view these changes can have a great impact on your life. Instead of accepting limitations, you can search for ways to overcome them or get past them.

Aging doesn't have to mean the end for fun or happiness in your life. You can age happily and successfully with a few adjustments.

Find new senior friends, worldwide, via my private Retirement Community. Keep your mind healthy with new friends and discussions on life. Allow yourself friendships outside your local world -- and grow, learn, and find new ideas for your own lifestyle too!

Advice for Seniors - You May Be Much Older, Or Younger, Than You Realize

While this commentary addresses two kinds of aging for those over age 50 (who will henceforth be called seniors), most of it applies as well to juniors and everyone else between obviously young and obviously old. Stages of life are real-everything about our bodies changes over time, but we have much more influence on how fast and what kinds of changes occur than most people realize.

Consider yourself a senior if any of the following apply to you:

You're over 50.
You're retired.
You've been offered discounts at movie theaters, seats on crowded busses and/or addressed by strangers as Granny or Grandpa.
You don't text, use an iPhone or do FaceTime.
You believe that your appearance gives you the right to be cranky and demanding, a little bizarre and even cantankerous-and most people will be understanding and forgiving.

Seniors get a lot of attention in our society. It's not unusual to encounter startling data on a near-daily basis about the breed. Just in the past week, I came across the following statistics:

Since the first day of January in 2011, 10,000 people have turned 65 every day-and this will continue for at least the next 20 years.
The number of folks over 50 is over 100 million.
The mortality rate for seniors is falling, that is, seniors are living longer.

The population over 50 has $2.4 trillion in wealth, which amounts to 42 percent of all after-tax income.
Eighty percent of those over 65 expect to keep working. (This figure leaves out a bit of related and crucial information unaddressed, namely, "for how long, for god's sake?")

(Source of above data only: Steve Dorfman, "Boomer Nation," Cox Newspapers/Rampa Bay Times, November 25, 2015, pp.6-7.)

Two Kinds of Age

I'm 77, a time in life when some people, including college coeds, are beginning to consider me something of a senior. Frankly, senior-hood is a matter of opinion, as far as I'm concerned. Not that I'm in denial or anything, but I believe aging in misunderstood.

The data on aging and thus all the statistics that I just presented are based on chronological age, which is related to birthdates and nothing else. This is of limited utility for purposes of understanding the significance of aging data.

"What's going on?" People want to know. Is the country filling up with broken down geezers taking up space, clogging the medical system and otherwise wasting good space, or are seniors having a positive impact on society while enjoying the hell out of life? Knowing the data about their chronological status does not cast much light on the answer to these kinds of questions.

Your birthdate is not the most accurate or meaningful indicator of aging. A more useful, predictive and insightful indicator is functional mental and physical capacity. If there were sound measures of these indicators, we would know the true age variations of our society and could better plan social programs.

The Takeaway: Lower Your Functional Age

While modern medicine and other sectors of society don't make distinctions, you can exert a great influence on how "old" you are after your chronological age hits 50. Instead of passively observing the age count rise and vitality levels fall, take control of your destiny. Invest daily in slowing the changes in your functional age.

Consider two 50 year-old men, one we'll call Mr. F (for Fit), the other Mr. NSF (for Not-So-Fit). Mr. F is active and trim, enjoys a whole foods/plant-based diet, has few medical issues (or actively manages those he has), loves his work and family, is well educated and has the benefits of a safe and comfortable environment in a society that enables and supports all manner of freethinking and personal choices. Mr. NSF, on the other hand, has few of these advantages and almost surely does not realize the impact that his lack of initiative plays on his physical and mental state.

Imagine the plight of Mr. NSF-he's overweight, a heavy smoker, often abuses alcohol in search of a little fun, identifies with sports teams and has limited access to enhancing social supports.

The men are the same chronological age, but how likely are they to be even close in functional age, mentally or physically? It's theoretically possible, but unlikely.

Now fast forward 25 years. Both are still alive at age 75, and the varying circumstances of their lives are about the same as when they were 50, as described above. Is it likely their functional age is even remotely similar? I believe the obvious answer is no, that effectively, Mr. F is much "younger" than Mr. NSF.

While how to assign a functional age to each is something not done when doctors examine patients or firms evaluate job candidates, some "need-to-know" business groups (e.g., life insurance companies) probably do, to some extent. Besides the great differences in lifestyle and circumstances sketched above, other factors will affect functional age, to some extent. These include genetics and fate or random fortune/luck.

Mr. F and Mr. NSF are not even remotely the same age, functionally. The differences in lifestyle are presented at extreme ends of a quality of life continuum in the example provided. This is done in order to show the likelihood that our rate of aging and our functional capacity at any age varies, from one person to another of the same age. Differences can be subtle or obvious, but they exist for all persons of a given age, and are most consequential when we are (chronologically) seniors.

Wellness tips for closing and/or starting the year off are pretty much the same as tips for New Year resolutions, for Lent, Ramadan and other holy days and not-so-holy days of our lives-make wise choices. Choose active lifestyles and become expert at good thinking, finding meaning and purpose, experiencing happiness and joy, being athletic and eating wisely. Safeguard your personal freedoms to live the kind of life you desire. Spend your days as much as possible showcasing your talents, supporting your interests and connecting with nature and loved ones.

You can't be a kid for more than a couple decades, if that long, but you can be younger longer by aging less rapidly and enjoying yourself while doing so.

Try to be the very model of a modern major general of wellness living.

How to Crush Your Next 10k

Being new to the world of distance and trail running, I do a TON of research. Among my daily reads while training for a recent 10k trail race in the East Bay Area, I found a few great tips that led me to crush my goal time by 10 minutes.

Do Your Research

Before you get to race day, get out on the course and do a test run if you can. You'll want to understand the breakdown of each mile, where you need to conserve and where you need to push. I was able to run the course of a recent 10k trail run and got a great understanding of what hills I could run and where I needed to walk depending on what was coming next. One hill seemed small but took a turn and kept climbing, most people drained their energy on the first portion and had to break during the second. I was able to walk the entire hill and passed all of these runners.

Run Your 1st Mile Slow

Don't go all out from the start. You've got 6.2 miles ahead, and you don't want to burn all your energy on mile 1. Get a feel for the pace around you, how your body is feeling, and loosen out any kinks or tightness. Don't worry about losing pace with others, we've got a plan to catch up with them later.

Don't Be Afraid to Walk

This tip is pretty specific to trail running, or a road race with a lot of hills. Being from San Francisco, I can name a few of those! During a trail race, you're going to come across a lot of hills. And most people think they need to run up those hills, the entire race in fact. But what if I said you could walk the uphills and still beat the others by minutes? Well, I've tried it, and it works! When facing a hill, don't try to run it as quick as possible.

Walk briskly if you need to to conserve that energy. You'll be surprised at how much energy you save and that you'll only be about 10 seconds behind those who ran it. Once you reach the top, take off again. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll catch up and surpass those who lost all their energy on the uphill. I even ran a race where I walked up to and passed a woman who was running on the uphill. Just walk at that point!

Crush the Downhills

Downhill is where everyone rests. It's where they recover after the tough uphill they just faced. But since you and I walked the uphill, are only about 10 seconds behind them, and are full of energy, we're going to crush the downhill, and they won't even know what's coming! Once you reach the top, take off. Gravity will take you down the hill, and it will take you fast! So be sure to watch your form, look ahead, pick your line and lean forwards from your waist. There's a feeling of being almost out of control, but you know exactly what you're doing. And you're picking up time fast!

Finish Strong

Your last mile should be your fastest. You took the first mile slow, walked up the hills, let gravity get you down the hills and now you're ready to push the home stretch. Most of your fellow racers will be taking this mile the slowest, which is great for you! Start picking out runners ahead of you and focus on catching up to them. Don't let them out of your sight! Realize that you're almost done and push. You'll start picking off runners in front of you one by one. See how many you can pass before you reach the finish line.

You did it! You crushed your 10k! Bet you can't wait to run the next one!

The Features To Look For When Investing In An Electronic Medical Record System

Keeping accurate and up-to-date medical records for a large number of patients can be the bane of any medical practitioner's life. Not only are these professionals tasked with attending to the needs of many different patients each and every day, but the additional administrative duties that need to be fulfilled are often time-consuming and arduous.

The invention of the electronic patient record system has meant that it is now easier than ever before for doctors to handle this kind of task. There are many benefits to this type of system, including saved time, a positive impact on doctor-patient relationships, increased productivity at the medical practice and much, much more.

When selecting an electronic medical record system to implement in a doctor's practice, however, there are a few particular features to look out for that can be particularly advantageous. Whereas it is true that there are many great options on the market of this kind of system, each one has its own merits and downfalls, and each one will have distinct differences.

The first thing to look for is an electronic patient record that keeps an accurate record of patient data over time. This is vital as it will provide at a glance not only the most recent information about the patient that has been entered into the system, but also will show up any major changes or developments in the health of the individual.

Ideally, this information should be presented in a format that is both quick to read and easy to understand. When bringing up this information on a computer during an appointment with a patient, it is vital that time is not wasted trawling through large volumes of data to find the information needed.

Instead, a good electronic patient record system will make all the necessary data easily accessible in order for the doctor to draw relevant information from it. When choosing a system, care should be taken to verify that this usability is present in the software and that medical practitioners at the particular practice will find it easy to use.

Secondly, look for a system that does not require excellent penmanship. Whereas writing out information clearly and legibly by hand can be a long and sometimes arduous process - and can result in errors - a good system will allow information to be entered easily with basic typing skills.

Some record systems will also have shortcuts that will also make data input much easier. This means that all staff can quickly and easily update the records as and when they need to. All the data is centralized too, meaning all members of staff at the practice can view it as and when they need to.

It is beneficial to also look for a record system that sends alerts and reminders for when a particular patient needs to attend preventive visits, vaccinations and screenings. This can also show missed appointments and missed screenings, which again makes sure that nothing is forgotten and that patients receive the highest standard of care and attention.

Lastly, a good electronic patient record system will make sure that a patient's vitals are also monitored to track changes in health over an extended period of time. Information that can be included on these records can comprise blood pressure, vaccinations, temperature and much more.

All of these features can be considered essential in order to get the most out of your new electronic medical record system. It is therefore worth looking for these specifically if you decide to invest in such a system for your medical practice. In addition to those listed above, search for features that you believe will benefit you, your staff and your patients.

A New Old Idea, on Real Natural Health

Natural health is not an alternative health care system. It has been around for thousands of years. Modern medicine has been around for about 100 years. God is the creator of all, there is no question that man cannot improve on the original creation, although man thinks he can. If man thinks he can improve on it, then we really have an inferior God, and I think not. What does real natural health mean? The creation model is all that was here before man and has not been altered by man. We really could call that organic. Getting real health is not about eating grass and drinking weird beverages. That can be all good for you, but it likely will not repair any real root issues.

That means all of modern mankind has been trying to do something with health care, but have been chasing symptoms and not finding root issues. Man has made medicine that chases that symptom and creates more side effects than the symptom they were after. Something is seriously wrong with this concept.

After years of looking at this and studying God's Word and His creation in nature, I am finally convinced of all of the foregoing as an absolute. I get asked all of the time, can you prove all of this? If you mean prove it by man's standard and science, then I would say no, because that is the wrong standard. If you mean can I prove it in nature, I will say absolutely yes. All of nature is screaming it. If you just look at a leaf off of a tree as an example, it is a really interesting creation.

Leaves do not just fall off a tree randomly. There is a creative process they go through. They have cells in them that are called "abscission" cells. They have the same root as the word scissors, meaning they are designed or created, like scissors, to make a cut; Cutting the leaf a little at a time until it falls off or gets blown off because it has been cut at the stem. The tree has to get rid of excess baggage and become dormant for the winter.

There are a number of other reasons they come off I will not take the time to go into. But when a leaf comes off of the tree, it goes to the ground in a forest of trees to start the rotting process to become fertilizer for the ground to enrich the soil to grow more and stronger roots and bark and more, all has a purpose. All of this process has a purpose in God's Kingdom.

This is also a way that God lets us know about things or events of our life, good and bad. All will fall to the ground to become rich soil to keep us growing and ultimately become what God created us to be.

If you really study this whole process from a creation perspective and not an evolutional process, you will start to see a creative design. It is the only true conclusion that can come from this type of study. There are always those who will argue with the tree and all of creation. Arguing with a tree or any creation is not very smart from my perspective and experience.

Man was created in a similar way, with a very exact process of operation. Every cell in the human body has a function that has to do with life on earth. The human body has only one goal, that is to stay alive and do what it was created for.

With that in mind, the body always handles the acute issue first that threatens the life of the body. As an example It will always try to deal with bleeding first so the body can live.

In extreme cold weather, it will slow the blood flow down in all of the extremities in an attempt to keep the core of the body functioning or alive even losing the limbs in the process.

The point of all of this is attempting to repair the human body by disassociating the heart from the rest of the body will never be good for the life of the body. In other words, you can do nothing with the heart without considering the rest of the body.

There are cells that communicate with each other from head to toe in order to keep the highest priorities in order. You cannot treat an organ by itself. I know the science world will argue with all of this from their standard of care. The body is in perfect balance and order when it is put back to how God created it and this is very doable.

Change the paradigm to how the creation works and it opens many doors and starts to make perfect sense because all of creation makes sense. Man making chemical drugs and attempting to force the body to do what it was not created for never will make sense. This system only makes a lot of money for a lot of people. The main issue is you cannot patent anything in natural creation so manmade chemicals are sometimes put together saying it all came from natural ingredients and it in the real sense has not.

This natural approach is very doable and inexpensive. God says in His Word that He supplies ALL of our needs. Not man supplying all of our needs. I will be writing another book on this subject to better explain the process.

Healthy Gift Ideas for Your Loved Ones

Eating healthy and following a healthy lifestyle is a priority for many of us. So, if you want to get a friend or a relative on the same page with you and introduce them to the wonders of living healthy through a "healthy" gift, you might want to think twice about what you're going to offer them. You don't want to send the wrong message by offering your friend a fitness DVD called "How to lose weight" complemented by a digital weighing scale and a "Good Luck" card... Despite your possible good intentions, that's not even a gift, that's just mean.

Healthy gifts should be offered in a way that's thoughtful and sensitive, but most importantly effective. Since Christmas is just around the corner, what better way to celebrate it than by sharing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle with the people closest to you. Offering them a thoughtful and healthy gift will encourage them to pay more attention to their health and make them happy. Here are some healthy gift ideas to choose from:

For the technology lovers in your group, choose a fitness tracker that can monitor their daily activities, sleep patterns and improve their overall health. There are so many fitness trackers to choose from on the market, that you will just have to do some research, based on the budget you are willing to spend, and on the activity you think suits best the person receiving this amazing gift. This way you can determine which features they will want more on their tracker, all while proving what a good friend you are for taking the time to personalize this gift.

Fitness trackers record the steps, the total amount of calories burnt, and also the hours of sleep, making it easy to be aware of any problem areas that need improvement. This can motive them to exercise more by tracking their progress, become more organized and improve their sleep. If your friend or relative works at a desk and sits on a chair all day, some fitness trackers offer more options, as they can vibrate after a period of time to remember the person wearing it to stand up and take a short walk.

For the stressed out friends around you, give them something that might help them relax more and take the edge off. You can offer them some yoga classes with a cute yoga kit to show them you fully support them in changing their stressful lifestyle. You can even consider a Relaxing Tea Gift Set or a natural wake up light alarm clock. This can actually have a great impact on how a person starts their day and their energy levels throughout the day. It will gradually brighten with a daylight-type bulb and calming nature sounds instead of loud and annoying horn sounds. If you know someone who's complaining about not sleeping well or not being a "morning person", this little gift might change their life. You can also consider adding a relaxation sounds package that will help your loved one relax as they peacefully fall asleep.

For that one person always complaining about traffic or talking about having a healthier way to get places, a bike is the perfect gift. This is a great way to revamp their commute or simply start riding around town or in the park for some extra exercise. You can even throw in a waterproof and versatile backpack that will help them carry different things they might need while riding, and is also is also very healthy for their spine, as the weight is distributed on both shoulders. Now that's a thoughtful and healthy gift!

For the cooking fans in your life, give them a reason to always make healthy snacks. A high powered mixing appliance or a juicer might bring up the appetite for healthy smoothies, cream soups and tasty natural juices instead of a soda. Since you're already here, why not throw in some recipes that will give your lucky friends an extra reason to start a healthy lifestyle? This can motivate them to get into the healthy habit of juicing, with a juice cleanse that will make them look and feel great, while giving them extra energy.

Happy Shopping!

And for all the women in your life, give them the gift of organic sanitary products that will help them reconnect with the natural rhythm of their beautiful bodies. Take advantage of this offer and use the Coupon Code HEALTH10 for a $10 discount on every purchase.

Although the issue of what kind of feminine hygiene products we use is clearly an important topic for every woman out there, it is rarely if ever discussed. We believe it's time for women around the world to start taking care of themselves, using organic sanitary products that protect their health and the environment at the same time.

4 Workout Routines to Set Your Day Right

Have you ever woke up in the morning with your body feeling heavy as lead, and a thousand needles seem pricking every joint of your body?

Then you try to get up, only to plop down on bed, with a dozen reasons why you should go back to bed and have a few more minutes of sleep.

We all have mornings like this - especially if the years are piling up on us. But if they come too often, watch out. You are set up for an unhealthy life.

They become a siren's song that lulls you into lethargy. Even a single day is bad because it will be followed by another and another, until it becomes a habit.

And habits are always looked at unfavorably and are darn difficult to break..

No matter how strong the temptation is to laze in bed a few minutes more, get up, with all your power; get up and shake those lazy bones and start getting physical.

Why?

Because physical activity, at any age, contributes to overall feelings of wellness. It becomes very vital I if you are at the prime of your life, or beyond.

According to the Mayo Clinic, regular workouts help control blood pressure, body weight and cholesterol levels. It reduces the risk of hardening of the arteries, heart attack and stroke; it strengthens muscles, tendons, ligaments, and many others.

Health benefits aside, getting up from bed and doing your workout routine, banishes feelings of lethargy and primes you up for the day; it gives you feelings of physical wellness.

A 30 min exercise, enough to forms beads of perspiration on your forehead, is all you need for the happy hormones to put a pleasant smile on your face.

Skeptics may scorn at this. But as soon as their doctor tells them that their cholesterol levels are high, their blood is as sweet as honey, or their weight makes them good candidates for a cardiac arrest, it sets them on a panic mode.

They immediately gulp down anti-cholesterol pills, go on a crash diet, and refrain from food that can worsen their blood sugar levels.

So where are you now? Are you still in bed, lazing, as if these things won't happen to you or are you on the road shrugging off your drowsy feelings?

If you belong to the former, it is best to re-arrange your priorities now. Getting sick is a lot more expensive that staying healthy.

Devise a workout routine now before your medical bills become more expensive than a membership in an upscale gym or wellness club.

It need not be fancy, or expensive or time-consuming. Anything will do as long as it promotes physical, mental and cardiovascular health.

Here are 4 simple workout routines you can start with.

If you don't have an idea what a tricep or bicep is, try these out and work on something else later:

1. Aerobics:

Is the collective term used to describe any activity that increases the beat rate of the heart.

It can be done with at home (by pacing in your room or the living room), in any space you can move around unhindered.

If you want to put more fun or socializing into it, join any aerobics group in your neighborhood. They are sprouting everywhere.

It can take the form of yoga, bicycling, tai-chi, or dancing, i.e., line, square or ballroom.

2. Strength:

One of the direct effects of aging is the loss of muscle mass. This shows as sagging skin beneath the chin, the underside of your forearms, softening of eh thighs and tummy.

To avoid this, work your muscles up by lifting 1 to 2 pound dumbbells at least twice a week.

If you don't have these, use your own body weight to lunges, squats, and modified push-ups.

The objective is neither to be an Arnold Schwarzenegger, nor a deflated balloon, but to be the best of yourself, despite your age.

3. Balance:

Another direct effect of aging is the loss of balance.

The CDC (Center for Disease Control) reports that "falls" are the leading cause of injury-related deaths and the most common cause of trauma admissions among Americans in their senior years.

To avoid being a part of the statistics, devise a workout routine that maintains or improves your sense of balance.

Or you can try this:

* Stand directly behind a heavy chair, like a dining room chair, that won't easily slide or tip over.

* Rest one hand on the back of the chair while the other hand on your hip.

* Raise your right leg, slightly bent at the knee. Hold until the count of ten.

* Put your leg down and relax.

* Repeat the routine with the left leg.

4. Flexibility:

Another effect of aging is the loss of flexibility.

Having problems reaching for objects on high kitchen selves or bending the hip pains when you bend own? That's loss of flexibility.

Have you had pain in the neck for craning so much to the left field while watching your favorite baseball game? That's loss of flexibility.

To cope with this, try this workout routine at home:

* Whether standing or sitting, slowly turn your head to the right until you feel a slight stretch. Don't tilt your head backward or forward.

* Hold this position for 10 to 30 seconds.

* Then slowly turn your head to the lift, and hold for just as long.

You can do stretching exercises to other parts of your body.

See how easy they are? And you can do them at home, in your pajamas or nightties. No need to drive to the gym, no need to buy expensive gym wear and they don't take much of your time, do they?

With as little as 30 mins a day, you can have physical wellness that sets your day right.

These 30 mins, could prolong your life, help you avoid expensive medical bills and make you look younger than you really are.
